We expected it to be a bit more busy upon our arrival, it was actually very pleasant, quaint and quiet all around us, easy to get to and just much easier than expected.

No trip to Lubbock would be complete without a trip to this Lubbock Landmark that is the final resting place of Buddy Holly (Holley). A memorable visit, and worthy of a trip for any music buff.

Suprised at how small and unassuming this grave is compared with others nearby. Cemetry well laid out and grave is sign posted.

Very close to the Buddy Holley Museum and statue (about 5 minutes away). Worth the trip to see the gravesite of the legendary Buddy Holley.

Wanted to see as Holley is a family name and that's what Buddy Holly's real last name was. Easy to find the gravesite once inside the cemetery.

The Buddy Holly grave is right next to the road where the sign is pointing. Some of the other Holley family are buried a little further in but his is pretty easy to find.

The City of Lubbock cemetery is always a nice place for me to visit as my parents and grandparents are buried there. They keep it clean and well maintained.
