It needs remodeling but its good adventure for the younger crowd - its not a "go and repeat" for me and my family but it is a nice place for a contained hike and local awareness.

This is a great place for children - when they have the dinosaurs. But for adults, we were very disappointed in birds and wildlife...there were none! Decided we would have been better off to put bird seed in our feeders at home - we would...More

Get out of the house/apt/whatever...take a nice fairly flat walk around the grounds. From a butterfly enclosure -- a few zoo type exhibits.....dinosaurs...and overall nice "thru the woods" type afternoon or day. You can not go wrong. Seasonal settings.

Enjoyed the Dinosaurs very much - really did a wonderful job spacing these out. All outside activities but really good museum.

The dinosaur exhibit is fantastic! Great walking trails, shaded and on the lake! Our grandkids love the indoor exhibits also. Easy to navigate, definitely a repeater.

Our favorite time to visit this museum is when the animatronic dinosaurs are visiting (September - February). The dinosaurs are well-placed in the natural settings along a gravel trail (wagons/jogging strollers work best). They move and make sounds. Very neat for younger children. There are...More

Go to the Heard and explore 5.5 miles of trails thru a highland forested area, a Lowland hardwood forest, a wetland, or restored Prairies. See wildflowers, native tall grasses, a Slough, native and migratory birds and waterfowl, and other native creatures. Or visit the Butterfly...More

Hi! It's too bad the dinosaurs won't be there after Feb. 15, then I would have recommended the trail where the dinosaurs are places for sure, without them, it's a nice place to hike, not hilly, and there is a spot with... More
