My husband and I went there on a date night, looking for something different. Knowing that this wasn't a big production, we went in with an open mind. We had a good evening overall and the antics of our fellow audience members certainly helped with that. It wasn't the best comedy show I've ever seen, but i think everyone enjoyed themselves. Glad to see McKinney getting a different type of entertainment venue.

I’m not sure how this place has gotten any positive reviews unless they were written by employees. The only comedy to be found was in how devastatingly horrible this whole clown show was. Don’t come expecting a standup show. This act is a group of adults who compete in teams based on scenarios suggested by the audience. The premise is questionable, the execution is abysmal. The entire display of fatuity was truly cringe-worthy. We left at intermission and regret staying that long. I’m giving two stars because it’s BYOB, but even that is not enough to compensate for the idiocy of the whole event. You would think a bring-your-own venue would at least have tables, right? Well, guess again. Even the venue was sorely lacking. I wonder what business will occupy this space when it inevitably goes under? Whatever it is, it will surely be a vast improvement.

Hi Jenai, We're real sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. This was truly not our intention. We appreciate you taking time to provide your feedback. It sounds like based on your review, you saw one of our ComedySportz matches which aims to be comedy entertainment for all audiences, and although that is usually the case, we clearly missed the mark with the show you saw and we regret that. The Comedy Arena offers many others shows besides ComedySportz. In fact most Saturdays at 10PM is the show "1 Mic Stand" which is a Stand Up Comedy show. So if that is the type of comedy you prefer, that option does exist. Your feedback about lack of tables is actually a really great idea and something we'll look into. In the meantime, we hope you don't judge the entire company by this one experience. Please feel free to reach out to us directly as we'd like to find a way to earn your laughs in the future. Thanks again for your feedback. Sincerely, The Comedy Arena info@CSzDFW.com

You'll laugh and have a great time at the interactive shows. SO MUCH better than going to a movie! Family friendly shows!

Comedysportz moved from its location in Plano right to downtown McKinney! And it is GREAT! Om: I’ll admit, when I went to see a show last year, I was a bit underwhelmed. My expectations were high since I had seen the comedysportz in Minnesota, and they had their own building and setup. Not the case last year, although the comedy was still good. After their recent move to downtown McKinney, now the atmosphere and setup matches the excellent comedy show that they do! It’s a very cozy theater, some might say small, but it really gives a nice setting. All the comedy is improvisational, and they take suggestions from the audience multiple times throughout the show, even getting volunteers on stage to participate! And their “normal” shows are family friendly, good for all ages! The tickets are a bit pricey, I’m sure to account for the overhead, but it worth it. Good to have a lot of funny right in downtown McKinney! Nom: What a nice new building they have in Downtown McKinney and I know the boys and my handsome love were super excited to see the show in the new digs! It’s very small but it works! The interior is super cool and it’s nice that it’s small because they don’t need a really loud sound system. The boys got to participate and that made their weekend! It was really nice they didn’t ignore the kids because they might have been laughing harder than some of the adults and I really enjoyed the show! Can’t wait to go back with my handsome love and the boys!! Maybe we’ll sign them up for an improv camp this summer!
