I have been a lucky person to have traveled around the world! Zoos have been a "must" where ever they were available. I have even been blessed with the experience of the Masai Mara in Keneya. However, the Attica Zoological Park was beyond anything I would have expected to ashtonish me. Calm, tidy, airy, green, animals well taken care of,... More

I had a really good there. A big and organised zoo, with helpful employees. I was able to see the feeding of some animals and the amazing dolphins show! Its easy to get there by bus. I strongly recommend it!

Although i don't like the idea of captivated animals, this is a good place. Metro is not convenient to pay a visit but still you can get some buses from around the city and access this zoo park. A lot of animals in good condition.

We visited the park on a Saturday morning with our twin boys (2 yrs old). It was a very pleasant day and we had no issues handling our little ones. The park is full of places to sit down and have a quick snack and of course there is also the zoo cafe full of healthy choices. The park is... More

The park extends to a total area of 20 hectares, hosting more than 2000 animals from 350 different species and the third largest bird collection in the world and although I am against captivity I have to admit that this artificial environment is close enough to real nature on a small scale, in which animals are treated with respect and... We like to visit zoos if we can and although this one is a little way out of Athens where we were staying we thought it would be worth it to see the dolphins as our children have never seen any. I found a taxi number on the website for a special price taxi. Also the website said that children... More

Very good zoo with lots of animals, very clean and all the animals seem well cared for with good enclosures. Just past the entrance is the parrot enclosure which is lovely to see so many parrots in a large enclosure. The dolphin show is amazing with lots of good information in English and Greek. There are also grass areas where... More

I would have liked to see the Big Cats have more room to run around with. But other animals had good sized pens. This is a zoo after all, not a safari park. I also thought admission was pretty cheap! We also saw the dolphin show, one trainer in particular showed she really loved her dolphins and really enjoyed her... More

We go often to Attiko Parko. It is probably the best outdoor excursion a family can have in the Athens area. We tend to go early and leave around lunchtime, although in summer it is best to get there at about 5.30pm (it closes at dusk) to avoid crowds and heat. Our child especially enjoyed being allowed to feed the... More

The park is well maintained and clean. There is a wide variety of all kinds of animals which were taken good care of. None seemed hurt or ill. People enjoy themselves, true- but I can not but feel a bit sorry for the animals in captivity.
