It's worth it to go up to the Castle to see the grat views. Trujillo is a great town, and the Castle is a must if you go there.

The Arab castle offers great views in all directions this is obviously why they built it on the highest point overlooking the old town. Interesting underground water cistern in the castle courtyard. You can walk all the way around the walls.

Well worth the climb to the top to see the amazing views all around. We left it a bit late in the day and it was really hot, would recommend to go earlier in the day!!

We absolutely loved the walk up to this castle and the view. The view is not only a view that takes you to Game of Thrones vibes, but you can hear all the animal sounds from here. It's just divine. Trujillo itself is a super...More

Our second stay in the unspoilt mediaeval town of Trujillo - both times with our dog. Highlight to visit the grounds of the impressive castle. As seen in Game of Thrones. Local people taking the air or walking their dog, children playing, storks and the...More
