Trujillo was not on our original itinerary so our unplanned visit for the day was a surprise at how beautiful this small town was....so much history and so many wonderful buildings and views.....plenty of bars, restaurants and shops but a lovely atmosphere to the whole...More

Trujillo is the cradle of Spanish conquistadors, including Francisco Pizarro and Francisco de Orellana, The best way to enjoy this historic town is sitting down for a coffee at one of the coffee shops on the Plaza Mayor and feel surrounded by history. Amazing!
