When we were here, there was a display of costumes from various theatrical pieces. Most part inspired by Cervantes. Nicely laid out and lavish. For those interested in theater well worth spending time

We expected to have a quick look, as we travelled with our 1 year baby, and finally stayed there for 3 hours. We all loved it, including the baby. Very nice dresses, videos with fragments of plays, interesting documents around the creation of some plays,... and the best for me was the visit of the tools to imitate the sounds... More

This is the only surviving example of a Spanish open air theatre from the “Golden Age.” The tour costs a mere €3 which is a bargain. You get an audio wand and are free to wander what in England we would call the stalls and the circle and upper circle. In this theatre they all had different names and different... More

The information cards in each room were brief but gives you enough information to understand the history of theatre. These cards are available in Spanish or English, so it is great.

Quite interesting displays. A couple of euros entry charge. Not very big so doesn't take long to get around. There didn't seem to be many visitors, although they seem to get some parties of students going around.
