Amazing place on the way from the train station to the city center. The fachade of this landmark is very special. It deserves a visit for sure!

This is must-do tour in Alcala, the first purpose-built university town in Europe. Almost sold to a group from Dallas (USA) in 1832. Early local crowd-funded raise-up stopped the sale, and here it remains. Keystone sight in a beautiful, historic town.

WHS site and a place with long history. The University conducts tour around its grounds and has a nice visitors' centre. It's the main sight of Alcala de Henares and also a reason why this small town has so much character - streets are bustling...More

One of Spain's oldest Universities. Beautiful facade from the 15th century. The gift shop is very poor.

Beautiful 16th university, very well preserved. It is possible to visit 3 different patios the chapel and the exam room, each of them completely different style. The first model of modern campus in the world. A must see!!
