Leghorn Ranch is a Premier Full Service Horseback Trail Riding outfit just 30 minutes from Vancouver. We offer guided horseback riding tours from March through to October. Our well trained horses are the heart and soul of our company. We hand select and train all of our own horses at Leghorn Ranch. We specialize in guided Trail rides for groups or families. Children 6 and up can go on the trails. We are unique in the fact that we are a Western Ranch and have real Cowboys and Cowgirls here to help you have a fantastic experience. We are the closest place to trail ride to Vancouver and want you to have a great authentic experience at our ranch.

Oh my goodness. Our 2 hour guided ride was better than I imagined. The guides were friendly and fun to visit with and the scenery was breathtaking. So much fun with the horses in the creek.i would do this again for sure!!

Our family of 5 adults and 5 children had the pleasure of riding together through the gorgeous mountains and fields outside of Vancouver, BC. The younger children had guides on the ride, and everyone had riding instruction before we got on the trail. Our ages of 77 through 4 1/2 years old was not a problem. Everyone was comfortable and bonded with their horse. Though I hadn't ridden in quite a while, the horse I rode was trained so well that I did not experience any concerns. While on the trail, the guide and handlers gave us information about our surroundings and wildlife, which was very interesting. Even though he'd never ridden before, the youngest rider was comfortable with a big smile on his face. We did a one-hour trail ride, which was perfect for our group. If I get to go riding again at Leghorn Ranch, I'd go for the 2-hour ride.

What a wonderful experience! Our guides were fantastic! Very sociable and knowledgeable. My niece and I enjoyed a 1 hour trail ride and absolutely loved when the horses were able to go off the path a bit and cross through a stream. It was obvious the horses at Leghorn are well cared for and well trained. Thanks for a fabulous day!

We had an amazing time at the ranch, all of the staff were so kind and they got us started early since we were already there. The cats there are also very friendly! Our guide took the time to talk to us about the ranch and the history of the trail. It was definitely worth the trip out!

Wonderful day yesterday with my son & superb guide along the dike trail and through the Alouette River watershed. Carson was a great looking & easy to ride horse for someone who only rides every few years. Would recommend the Leghorn Folks for providing a very special experience.

This was my third horse ride in the last recent years. As before, I truly enjoyed the ride, the friendliness of our guide and choice of horse. I strongly recommend Leghorn Ranch

Seeing my Granddaughters face when she knew she going horseback riding ,we both loved the ride,and just being the 2 of us in the ride was very personal and the guide,a young lady from New Zealand very well skilled which made my granddaughter feel comfortable,she loved the accent

I mentioned I wanted to go horseback riding and my friend signed me up for the two hour trail ride. My husband and I had a blast. It was fun and relaxing all at the same time. Our guide was Sidney. She was fun and knowledgeable. I loved hearing about her home in New Zealand and about how she had a pet possum when she was young. All around great experience!

Always a positive experience. Went with teens and a 7 year old. Everyone enjoyed their experience. Staff always warm and friendly and professional and look after kids safety adequately.

Trying to figure out the best way to get there. I'll be staying in the West Side in Vancouver. It looks like you can take the WCE train from the Waterfront Station to Pitt Meadows. Are there cabs at the station to get you from there to the ranch, or is it better to just rent a car? I would like to come on May 30th if possible.

The WCE only runs out to Pitt Meadows in the late afternoon and early evening. It is a commuter train.
There is no taxi stand at the train station but there are taxis available to call in the area. 604-465-5555
