ENJOY NATURE ! Take this rack railway with an unique view of the Aiguilles de Chamonix and the Dômes de Miage to reach the Bellevue Plateau and discover some beautiful walks ideal for families. Take the train, up to Nid d’Aigle for a splendid view of the Bionnassay glacier.

We did this with a 5 and 3 year old and all absolutely loved it. Great train, great views. At the top the cable car down to the ice cave / grotto is also fantastic. It is all very well done.

Fun ride on a furnicular railway. A gentle ride up the mountainside with great views and great walks and a cafe when you reach the required station. Best views from the left hand side going up.

This is an historic railway line. It takes about an hour; it's very steep and the seats are wooden, so a bit hard!! It's very popular in the summer so it's best to book ahead. The train takes you all the way up to the...More

We are going to be in Chamonix on April 5. I want to do de l' Augille to 3800m. Also, I want to do the Tram. Should we do the tram or Augille first? Also, should I do the Tram and then Les Houches via cable car? I also want to see the cave and we need to get back to Chamonix and then to the train.
