We were there in cold December so could not go onto the lake but it was a beautiful view and in Spring and Summer must be fantastic. Very nice area of Texas with great people, located between Austin and San Antonio

Canyon lake is one of the clearest and deepest lakes in Texas. There are many parks and boat launches around the lake and most are free. It's a great lake for fishing, boating or for just a picnic.

Canyon Lake is awesome and there are many areas and options to take in or visit. If you are in the military you can stay at the military venues for a very reduced price.

We spent the day at the lake. Walked the dam, and the shores! It is a beautiful blue lake, and not overly crowded on the lake.

This is a beautiful, deep, clear water lake in the Texas Hill Country. Great for boating. There are two marinas that rent boats.

Yes, but I don't have specific information. You can call Joy Savage at 409-599-0145 about a beautiful 2 BR cottage on 50 acres 7 miles from the lake.

I'm renting an awesome cabin overlooking the lake. I can see down at one of the campgrounds and can see rvs and tents. First time out here and I love it lake is beautiful and the water is really blue for a lake.
