When I was a very young child, my dad took me to the Snake Farm. At that time it only had snakes and reptiles. Scary! Now 40 years later I took my my daughters ages 13 and 11. I was still very impressed with the...More

I recently visited because someone mentioned they had gotten giraffes. Not yet, but they say in the future. They have added many more animals, so it is much more than just a snake farm. Worth a trip and children really love it. Very warm so...More

They have things going on every 1/2 hour which was cool. Lots of snakes, birds, and other animals. We saw their new baby mountain lions. You can find coupons for animal food at the hotels in town.

We stopped by on our way home to Houston. We absolutely had a blast. They do a new show every 30 minutes and you can get very close to the wild animals. Look at the snakes of Texas to teach your kids the bad snakes...More

My family and I enjoyed this zoo!! So much fun for our 3 and 6 year old. Even better animal encounters than the San Antonio up zoo plus the shade was nice!

Decades ago when I was a wee lad the Snake Farm was one of those stereotypical side of the road attractions that had little to offer. It was essentially a pit with a few snakes, some gophers out back, trinkets and oddities. Now this place...More

very small place but fun and exciting because all of the animals were very active and so very close to you. SNAKES and more snakes -so many colors an varieties! It was great to get so close and almost really interact with the animals!

We came here with our 3 year old and he really enjoyed his time as well did we. He loved the petting zoo and seeing all the snakes they had. They even showed us some baby cougars. Pretty neat place and not super pricey either,...More

Don't let the entrance fool you, this place is worth a visit. There is a large variety of animals here - the sloths, wolves, monkeys, and hyenas were some of our favorites. The entire place is well maintained and very enjoyable to visit. We went...More

Yes! all pet-able animals are running wild in the park and it seems they are just waiting for the train to ride through so they can get fed by the guests arriving.

Sorry, I do not believe you can . There are so many animals and birds close, I wouldn't anyway. It's small in there but they've just bought 20 acres to expand the zoo. We're so excited for them.
