It's a nice park. We've been camping in the wilderness area and it was great. So peaceful and quiet. But if you're not into roughing it they do have other campsites and cabins available. If you have never been here and you are in the area you really should check it out.

This area is a quick trip out of the city and I'm sure the camping and what not is amazing. However, we went there to bike the trails. We found the marker fine to start the peach creek trail however once we were on it we found no other trail markers. This made it very frustrating when we came upon... More

Please note, my review is for the staff and the booking process and not for the park itself. I started trying to contact them more than a month before my trip, but their phone system was full of dead links. Their was no other means of contacting them listed, although I eventually found an email, which was never answered. I... More

I have taken my family and a group here. I love the trails, the campsite, the Nature Center (very educational), and the creek. Very well kept up and there are plenty of wildlife to be seen if only you be still and wait. Great for kids and adults.

My husband and I took a quick few hour trip from Houston with our dog on a nice January Sunday afternoon. Park entrance was $3/person. We went on 2 separate hiking trails which equated to about 3 miles. Not a bad afternoon to spend outdoors not too far from Houston. We brought our lunch and ate along the trails. At... More

It's a pretty big park, plenty of nature to go around and explore with either rental cabins or places to camp out. There's a little nature center a bit from the entrance which provides some information about the wildlife there, It's a great place for a walk with the dogs

Visited for the first time to have a picnic lunch, ride bikes with my two daughters, and take a peek at their overnight facilities. Lots of picnic tables in various areas (best ones by Nature Center where there is a restroom/shower facility). We didn't plan to visit the Nature Center, but ended up going in because there happened to be... More

This was our first trip to the park. We enjoyed walking the trails along Peach Creek. We saw some of the cabins...they look nice . It was very hot so we only stayed a few hours. We only live 10 miles away so will definitely go back when it's cooler. We are seniors and there is no fee for the... More

Great rails, a beautiful bridge, nature center. A great place to slow down for a bit. I have only went for day trips but they do have rental facilities and camp sites available.
