This is a huge area where you can see people riding horses, giant gas balloon releases, drone practice, interesting birds and rainbows all in the same day at the same time. I really enjoy biking on the trails and seeing the water fowl in the...More

The park, its trails and the lake are all so pristine for a city ! Great 1.8 mike walking / biking trail around the lake, perfect with large number of birds visiting. The park even had zip line there. I’d have expected larger crowds but...More

Very cool walking park. It is loaded up with wild creatures so the signs say. More flat than hilly so very good for bike riders, walkers and joggers. The park has ponds , creeks, woods , bridges and wide open spaces. Fun for all ages.

Sometimes what we love about Dallas ( aka. The Big D) is what makes us crazy. There is so much to do, sometimes you’re just have to disconnect. This place s the place to do it. Wander the paved paths or just dive into the...More

There is a picturesque pond surrounded by paved and unpaved walking trails and forest. The walking trails are pretty wide and allow rollerbladers and bicycles pretty easily. Dogs on leashes are welcome. I saw a large group of boyscouts checking out nature. They do have...More

I'm not sure what type of 'park' people expect to exist smack bang in the middle of suburbia, but this is a great place to visit and unplug! I often come to jog on the trails or just sit under a tree and read a...More

This "park" is not really a traditional park. Pet friendly, you'll need to watch your step. There are signs posted to clean up after your animal, but very few actually do here. It's more like a nicely laid out concrete walking trail that weaves in...More

Excellent for vistas and woods alike, with a charming lake in the middle. Awesome for both hiking and biking (I've done both) and a nice country looking spot in the middle of an urban area. I visit frequently

Yes, dogs are welcome, on a leash. Please be sure to clean up after they eliminate. I've seen lots of families there with dogs.

Ues, there's a Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott on Premeir Drive. It's less than 5 miles away.
