Nice walking area

The area is an interesting walk. Mostly restaurants but there are a few fun shops. It is worth investing an afternoon to visit.

A cozy fun area with a great pub (The Fillmore) and food (Angela's at the Crosswalk) plus many local shops filled with art, antiques, collectable, nick-knacks and friendliness and passion.

If you like a mix of old and new, Downtown Plano is a mix of newly constructed areas (new brick and concrete paved areas) and old shops where you might stumble on something incredible. I bought a book dump, for those antiquarians out there. There are also great dining experiences from greasy spoons to sandwich salons and quaint places for... More

We stop by old downtown Plano every couple of weeks or so, mainly to eat at Lockhart barbecue (probably one of the best barbecue joints in the Dallas area). There are several other nice restaurants and bars along 15th street, making for a pleasant night out. And it is on the Dart line from downtown Dallas, so accessible for convention... More

Nice place to stroll other than the massive amount of traffic driving by. We thought the cigar bar was really nice.

We have eaten and shopped in downtown Plano. There are several restaurants available, a barber shop, and some other antique type shops. My favorite restaurant is Jorg's. Parking can be difficult during peak hours but some remote lots off the main street are just a short walk away.

Our family has been coming here since we moved to Plano in 1978. There has been many, many changes and each change keeps getting better and better. Plano is proud of this part of our city as this is where Plano originated from century ago. Original red brick store fronts and cobble streets takes you back to that time in... More

Lots of neat shops for all kinds of great finds. Hungry, don't worry there are several restaurants and bars close by to take care of any hungry moods, tired feet from walking or just a nice adult beverage to top off the excursion through the shops. Enjoy!
