After a great brunch at Virginia's on the Bay, we decided to take a trip on the Jetty Boat for a Dolphin Watch cruise. Although a small operation, there was a small glass windowed, air-conditioned waiting room, a small gift shop area, and bathroom available...More

This was a horrible experience! We went to St. Joe's Island to find some shells. We walked a couple of miles and didn't find a single shell. The boat only comes every hour, and for the first few hours, that is only if somebody else...More

We took the Sunset Dolphin Tour (4:30pm-5:30pm) for the kids to possibly see some dolphins swimming around the harbor. The captain was funny and he didn't talk the whole trip, which was nice! We saw lots of dolphins and heard a few stories about the...More

The Jetty Boat is the best value for your money anywhere on the island. We stayed over a holiday weekend and the main island beaches were packed, dirty and hectic with cars, motorcycles and campers. We found St. Jo island to be much more the...More

Really enjoyed this tour. Got to see the dolphins and saw a few birds as well. Found the trip cheap, $12 each and the Captain was a lot of fun. You get to see a few places around Port Aransas as well. Well worth the...More

This was a very low key tour, but fun and reasonably priced. There was no narration, which was a bit disappointing, although the skipper was more than willing to answer questions. We covered quite a bit of the area during the hour, all within the...More

One of the best hidden treasures while visiting Port "A" is a visit to San Jose Island. The only way to get there is the Jetty Boat which takes you across the channel. The ride is cheap $6 and runs on schedule. It is like...More

Simple and efficient--just pay your $12 at the Fisherman's Wharf desk, get your ticket, hop on board, and off you go. You'll see dolphins on the short trip over. We took our dog which was fine (on a leash). They leave right on time (even...More

St. Jo's is a great place to go and glad the Jetty Boat could take my wife and I there. Low cost and fast. I liked the that they continuously went back and forth so that you didn't feel like you were stuck there.

It would be best to call for their hourly schedule, but as I recall, they go out on the hour. You can check their website also.
