We had our dog in the car and was told to leave. We explained we were not going to take the dog out only wanted to take photo at the Rockport Beach. We were more than happy to pay the $5.00 for our few minute stay. Beach is tricky to find.

I love the rockport beach, it's clean and we always have a nice time here. Parking is not an issue and the sand is nice as well. Beware of the stickers in the grass so make sure to bring flip flops.

We went in early February on an unusually warm day. It was like a little slice of heaven. The beach was clean and uncrowded, with a playground, covered picnic tables, restrooms, showers, and cabanas for relaxing in the shade. The people were quiet, friendly, and not very numerous. We stayed for three hours, and the time sped by. Kids waded... More

It was a warm but windy day on the beach. Not much of a crowd for a Saturday. $5 a day to enter or $20 for a season pass. Clean and groomed beach. Restrooms were clean. Would definitely come here again.

Quiet this time of the year. It's nice to walk around without the crowds. Clean beach! Sand is soft and comfy. Great for meditative visit. Enjoyable surroundings with lots to see close by such as Texas art.

Rockport beach is so pretty and impeccably clean! This is a perfect place to come and relax by yourself and also a great place to bring your family. This beach is perfect for little kids because there aren't many waves but there is also a part of the beach that is made for children to swim safely without the worry... More

Nice small, crowded beach that cost $5.00 a day to get into. Clean older restrooms and showers. Has place for young kids to swim.

We have visited the beach several times since arriving in Rockport. My favorite by far was when tide was out and it exposes several different sandbars you can walk on. The sand is hard packed and makes an excellent walk.

We loved this beach and it was very close to where we were staying. It was an overcast day so it was not crowded.
