It's amazing that more recognition is not paid to this hidden gem. If you like history, historical architecture, or just a really good story, this is your place. You will find it hard to find a more complete historical setting than this.

There are several parking areas around the fort, including across Oakes Street, as mentioned above. The farmer's market is not open yet for the season, so the only people parking there should be people who work in the area... More
