Very nice state park just of Hwy 71 between Bastrop and Smithville. Good number of campsites. We have a 30' Class B RV and had plenty of room. All camping areas also have adjacent restrooms and showers. TPWD does an excellent of keeping them well...More

Another of our spur of the moment trips. This is a beautiful park, the drive around the park is nice. Roads appear to be pretty new. Didn’t have a lot of time to explore, but is on our list to come back to.

The hiking/ biking trails are a bit on the challenging side due to there being hills, roots, and stones in the way. It is quite a beauty though.
