Queen Isabella fishing Pier-pretty astounding how far out you can walk on the water...

We just got a [dizzy] thrill walking out in the water so far and it's just up to your knees, then your waist. Recommend wearing waders ...so many fishermen were out in the water in waders and boats. The bridge itself has an unusual history. Go on the Breakaway Dolphin cruise with Captain Paul [very knowledgeable le and handsome too]... More

This is $9 a person with your own pole. There's a 50 cent rebate if you're a senior. There is not another one available at all in the area so if you want to fish-this is it. The staff was nice. They don't make any effort to clean up debris but do empty the garbage cans. The one chair restroom... More

It was a cloudy day and no one was there. Beautiful views of the bay. waters were clear and it was just a really nice place. Nothing exiting, but a very calm walk.

Access is free, and they also have a picnic area, with BBQ's provided. (Bring your own briquettes). Pier has a snack bar, that sells snacks, beer, bait etc. We opted to buy a couple of beers from Pirates Landing on the way onto the pier, and walked along in the sun enjoying the water views, and talking with a couple... We were at S. Padre during red tide. That has nothing to do w/the rating. The tackle is expensive at the pier. The cost to fish off the pier is high. If you decide to go, take everything you need. You do not want to have to purchase at the pier. We did catch fish.

It was chilly, but was a beautify day to fish. Relaxing and there's bait, restautrant and bathrooms steps away from the pier. You can even buy your fishing license here!!!

Seemed a little pricey as fishing piers go. However, it has several sheltered areas out on the pier itself so if it starts raining or you want a break from the sun there is a place to go.

Kids loved the variety of activities. A wonderful place to observe and always a great array of restaurants to choose from that serve fresh fish! Fun to see the various species of marine life.

It was the last night of our Vacation so me and my sons went fishing. You need a license, I baited my hook, threw it in the water and got on my phone and got a license online in 3 mins. At the foot ot the peir is a Food, drink, tackle shop. We rented 3 poles and bought some... More

As good as most pier fishing. Good lighting and restrooms. Depending on the current and tides this place can be OK to fish.
