Very informative visit. Loved learning about the geography of the island and how it came to be. Very impressive learning experience and the staff was very informative.

We loved this place! Cheap prices and fun for all! We saw lots of different birds, fish, and even an alligator! Make sure to wear a hat or apply lots of sunscreen!

Place had a nice long observation deck. We didn't see much but two alligators, some ducks and a couple of birds. May have been the time we went but there wasn't much to see

Since it is June in South Texas you want to make sure and take water with you. We saw lots of interesting birds but we did not see any alligators. It is a very nice sanctuary.

This is a great place to get views of the bay and to see the various birds, fish, turtles and even an alligator that inhabit the area.

I was able to take my family for more fun yet educational trips. You can take great pictures and see the wildlife and other birds up close with the family.

It is very hot here in South Texas during July and August. I recommend coming in the morning for the best viewing of the resident birds. The best seasons to see a lot of birds would be during Spring and Fall Migration... More
