We create memories! The Wells family has served South Padre Island for 5 generations and we create memories that last a life time! Our Adventure Park is located at the end of State Park Road 100 with forty acres of land spanning from the Gulf of Mexico to the Laguna Madre Bay that provides an unparalleled location for Adventure on South Padre Island. Our horseback rides are along the beach and water's edge and we often see a variety of shoreline and marine life and we get to ride in the remote portion of the Island that few people get to experience. No crowds here! Our Petting Barn is filled with birds and animals we have rescued or have been donated to us for a forever home. Children can enjoy a safe and educational interaction with all of our birds and animals (us big kids too). Dolores also owns The Massage & Healing Arts Center and her licensed and professional Massage Therapists are ready for your pampered needs after a fun day at the beach. Come; make your memories with us! We love what we do and we look forward to exploring the Island with you soon. Doyle & Dolores Wells

There were 7 in our group. The youngest was 7 and the oldest 74. The youngest was afraid after she was on the horse, because she had fallen before. The guide was very patient with her, assured her she was on the gentlest horse and...More

Horseback riding on the beach and over sand dunes was awesome! Good horses. Our guide was a nice college student. Thanks for a amazing ride. Sorry I can’t remember your name! We will definitely do again and we would highly recommend!!

Hi Kate, Thanks for taking the time to leave your review of us. I'm pretty sure your Guide was either Alexis or Roland and I'll let them know you enjoyed your horseback ride on the beach. Thanks again, Doyle

The tide is low, no mosquitoes, low traffic, wonderful cool breeze but bring a sweater or wind breaker, it is a lovely time for horse rides with off-season specials, good time to fish, take sun pics, collect beach nic-nacs, & have a relaxing time watching...More

My sister and I went to South Padre in November, which is off season. Despite it being a slow time, the guides were wonderful! We did both the zip line and horseback, scenery cannot be beat, and to see the smiles on the guide's faces...More

Hi Tara, Yep, horses are just like people, walking in soft sand is a lot more difficult than the hard-packed beach. I bet you noticed how smart the horses were when they walked in the same hoof prints left by other horses. People can learn...More

Went here for our anniversary. Staff was friendly and horses seemed tired and in need of a little more care. Ride along beach was awesome and sunset was beautiful. Horses were a little stubborn but were enjoyable to ride.More

Howdy Joe, Thanks for your review but you left an interesting review for us. First, my horses are well rested and rarely ridden because it's the slowest time of the year for us. Your interpretation of "stubborn" tells me that the horses did exactly as...More

Thanks for leaving your review. What you interpret as "stubborn" is a horse doing what they were trained to do...not let the rider get them into trouble. Basicly, a horse is like a car and requires some measure of control. Car or horse...if someone isn't...More
