We camped in our pop-up camper at Isla Blanca Park while visiting South Padre Island over Memorial Day 2016. I searched and searched for somewhere for us to stay and this is what I found. I called and they told me they didn't take reservations,...More

We love to spend the afternoon here. My husband likes to fly his kites and I like to relax and read my books. It's a fairly large beach with restrooms and a picnic area. (Watch out for gulls.)

We enjoyed being able to fly a kite without interruptions. The scenery is beautiful and it was not crowded the day we were there.

We thoroughly enjoyed watching big ships come and go from the Jetty in Isla Blanca. We got the month pass since we were here for a month - $25 a month - or $10 each time ... BUT if you can prove you're a veteran,...More

Water front sites were like one big asphalt parking lot. No grass or trees. Inland sites are nicer. Not cheap and Wi-Fi expensive. The beach was very nice
