Skip Galveston, go to Surfside, Quintana or Bryan Beach in Freeport. The Ocean Village hotel is the place to stay.

Clean family oriented. No seaweed. You can drive on the beach. What a trip. You can rent horses to ride the beach.

Took my daughter 👭 and we put our toes 👣 in the sand 🏝, watched the water 🌊, watched people get stuck in the sand 🤣, watched dogs running and playing🐶, put 1 toe👣 in the water 🤤. Enjoyed every minute of it!!!!

I thought I had answered it. While we went in summer when school is out and people are vacationing, even then I didn't find it crowded at all!
