Nice layout, lots of different roses, some pretty areas - However, quite a few appeared to be dying or dried up... Maybe we came during the out of season time? Nothing here for small children, but my 4 y/o did think the flowers and fish...More

Extensive gardens, nicely laid out. Sort of out of season, not covered up with blooms. The museum is all about the Rose Festival and it's queens. Several elaborate gowns on display, but no where do they tell you that the queens are chosen by a...More

It had been years since I had been to the rose garden, my niece was married there. The plants looked a bit dry, the area looked as if there had been quite some improvements, some of the flier beds still had leaves in them from...More

Start at the top by the upper parking stalls and go through the paths, Idea Garden and the rose gardens. Everything is clearly labeled and maintained perfectly. You will need about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to really see it all. But, you can do...More

The rose garden is a mainstay of Tyler and a wonderful visit. It is quiet and quaint. Take time to park and just stroll through looking at the variety of colors and styles of roses. An old fashioned worthwhile jewel in Tyler. Great place for...More

It helps to know the history of the Garden before or after your tour. But the experience it self will be more than satisfying. The Garden is well themed and accommodates parking and traffic well. It is popular but your viewing is rarely interrupted with...More

Our local Aggies took our group to many good restaurants and sites to see. We even visited local homes to see their gardens and the homeowners were very accommodating.

My knockouts are blooming. Yea roses may be a bit early but we've had such a mild winter you may find them in full bloom. The museum is worth the visit. Enjoy. It's dogwood and azalea time in east Texas.
