Small but informative.

If your looking for something inexpensive to you can catch a short movie at the planitarium. They also have star gazing nights.

This wasn't quite what we thought. We expected a full science museum type thing. There was one room with about 12 things to do. Mostly things to do with making noise and the science behind it. The "scream booth" was cool where you can see how loud you can scream. We were done in less than an hour. However we... More

We took our 5 yr old grandson to see the Astronaut movie. He was so amazed that the movie was all around him and over his head. It was truly a "moving" experience and an awesome movie for all ages. After the movie finished, the young man told us he would give us a special treat - a study of... More

SUPER COOL! (If you listen to The Ticket in Dallas you probably thought I was going to say something else.) This was my first visit to a planetarium. Besides being educational, cool and fun..it was also like being in an episode of Big Bang Theory only my boyfriend didn't take me to the comic store afterwards. ;-)

This place never disappoints. We love the museum and the planetarium and visit frequently with family. Kids love it. It is so nice to have a planetarium in the area. We will continue to support it. VERY fun place, and educational.

My 6 year old at the time loved the video they were showing. It was fun to watch a movie on the ceiling.

My husband and I came to Tyler mostly to go to Tiger Creek, but I saw this on Trip Advisor and wanted to try it out. My husband was skeptical and said, "Plantitariums are for kids." Well, we went for the "Dark Universe" show and we both enjoyed it! I think it's great for kids and adults!

This would be great to take your kids. What we did was have a double date night here instead of going to a movie to shake things up. We went to the laser lights show, which wasn't that great. However we saw previews of some of their other programs, and we're really excited to go back. It's a small theater... More

Such a pleasure to spend time I the exhibits. Lots of hands on for kids. The movie was great in the round. We were the only ones there so got the best seats and got to ask all kinds of questions about the sky and constellations after the movie. The college kids working the movie were super nice and knowledgeable... More

I was so pleasantly surprised! I have lived in the area for 4 years, and never heard anyone mention this, and I don't understand why. (Maybe the name throws people off - it sounds so scholarly!) I went with a school group of 3rd graders, and look forward to returning with family. I have been to many big-city science museums... More
