I was amazed at the collection in this hidden gem! The kids loved "looking" at all of the stuff. The hubby and I could have spent hours reading the letters and newspaper clippings. Lot's of stuff from the different wars, NASA, commercial flight industry...and planes...More

The air museum is located in the former Tyler airport terminal. It is well laid out and the material there is presented very well. There are some rather unique sections to the museum that you will want to seek out, especially the pictures from Hiroshima...More

Very well presented museum hindered somewhat by rudeness. Visited with my family and took our time, about 30 minutes before closing they start turning the lights off. We ask if they are closing and they indicate no. So we continue looking around but notice they...More

The volunteers are pure gold - they bring every exhibit to life. Our docent stayed with us most of the time we were there and personally knew just about every person involved with the displays. He personally flew a Thunderchief! We had a wonderful time.
