Markdowns!
Jun. 2021
Stop here before heading to Magnolia Silos. You can find tshirts, sweatshirts and the same home items for 25-40% cheaper than the Silos. This store is owned by Chip and Joanna and has markdowns from the Silos. Great place to get gifts for those back home without overspending.

Nothing special

We visited the shop while vacationing in the area. I’m glad we went to see where Joanna started out but there is not a lot of inventory. Many items that were discounted were badly damaged. We did get some Magnolia Market tshirts at good prices and some of her signature candles. I would say if you have the time to stop in it’s worth it but if you are pressed for time just skip it.

Small with limited inventory
Jan. 2021
This was Joanna's first retail shop space before Magnolia at the Silos. Although I love all things "Magnolia" this is a small shop and the inventory is limited. There is also some clearance items outside along the side of the building. If you had to skip this, you haven't missed much.

Wroth the Stop if you Don't Mind Seconds
Mar. 2020
We visited the Silos first. When I checked out with my purchases, I was given a discount coupon to use on purchases at The Little Shop. We went over and although the shop is small (as the name suggests) there were nice deals to be had. Prices here are much lower than at the Silos, though the items may be seconds. I loved seeing the shop were Joanna started up. If you are a fan of the show, and are looking for deals, then this may be worth your time to check out. I would visit the shop again.

Go there first
Feb. 2020
Go there before Magnolia Market at the Silos for some slightly damaged or discontinued bargains. It's easy to find and parking is next door at the church.

Cute small small store with some great deals but not a large selection. The nice little church next door let’s you park in their lot since there is no parking. Nice to see places you hear about.

Magnolia starts

Adorable little shop near local strip malls....full Gaines style, super friendly staff and small but inviting shop. Small selection and mostly Christmas markdowns when we were there, but nice quality for the farm house look - pure Joanna style. Go early as it fills up quickly.

this is where it all started.......

Yes Magnolia Little Shop on Bosque was the first shop the Gaines had. Another historic structure full of home goods and what not. I feel it was overpriced even with everything being % off.

Need GPS
Jan. 2020
I am determined or just plain hard-headed, I guess. Finding this place without GPS would be a miracle. Last season's items and discontinued ones at discounted prices. With the prices so high to begin with, the discounts weren't that great. Unless you just want to kill time, I wouldn't bother going here.

If you are a Fixer Upper fan...go!
Jul. 2019
This shop is not usually open, but if you are a fan of Fixer Upper and all things Magnolia, it is worth a stop for photo op. Plus, it is not too far away from Harp Design.
