To begin with, I'm not a fan of staying places for hours and hours. Cameron Park Zoo is laid out nicely so you can make it through pretty quickly and still see everything. Of course it is open to those that want to make an afternoon of it. There's a calendar of events for all ages. Animal exhibits are put... More

we like this zoo and not bad for the money. We like to walk around and let kiddo run around and learn about nature and different type of animals. I visited in March and the weather is awesome.

A definite must see in Waco, better zoo than many big city zoos! Beautifully landscaped. Be willing to give it a couple of hours to tour the entire zoo. Many different animals to see, monkeys, giraffes, rhino, elephants, orangutan, lion, otters, alligators, to mention just a few. Each animal is in their own environment! Great little gift shop. A must... More

While Waco Zoo may not be the biggest it is certainly one of the nicest. The old days of cages and pens are long gone in this natural habitat zoo down in the woods of Cameron Park!

I took all of my grandchildren to the zoo and one is in a wheelchair. The zoo was completely accessible and everyone was very helpful.

We had such a good time at the Cameron Zoo. It is just the right size for little kids. The way it is laid out you can see multiple animals at once from different locations throughout the park. Giant tortoises, monkeys, elephants, rhinos and the aquarium were our favorites. The only downside was the narrow pathways in some places were... More

My kids & I come here often. It's very spacious & the animals are well taken care of. It's handicapped accessible. We love it here.

This zoo is the perfect size for a day out with the family! Every time the kids started to get a little rowdy/fussy/bored we would turn a corner and find something to help them reset. Great flow. Love the play area! Just as we started to get tired, we were at the end and ready for some Blue Bell and... More

We had a good time - but had some issues, we were able to secure a wheelchair for me as I have trouble walking distances - I'm grateful for the service - but my chair pulled to the left so badly my 15 y/o daughter had a lot of trouble pushing it and it was virtually the last one available!...
