Glad we stopped. It was a Saturday so we couldn't go inside but we walked around the entire building and it's just gorgeous architecture!

On our way from Dallas to Austin we stopped at Waxahachie just to take some pictures of this beautiful red building. This is the second time that we visited this town. The location of this building is in the middle of the town.

Our 10 year old grandchild visited the building and was awed by the bullet hole on the first floor and the gargoyles that could be seen throughout the architecture. But you don't have to be ten to enjoy the history of this courthouse. Stories abound...More
