We were fortunate to have a delightful docent who told us the history of the magnificent house and gardens. Every window in the house has a delightful view of a garden vignette and when you are in the house and garden you enter a peaceful and beautiful space and have no idea that you are in the heart of Weatherford.... Absolutely fabulous place for a wedding! The staff is so very kind and helpful, the gardens are beyond beautiful and they have a small cottage where the bride and her attendance can dress and prepare and a loft for the groom and groomsmen. We could not have been more pleased with the wedding venue!

Chandor Gardens never disappoints. I've been visiting for 50 years. It gets more beautiful every year. A great place to take friends from out of town, the family or for some quiet time alone.

Rescued by local city council members, this English garden transplant is delightful. Surprises around every corner

I loved these gardens but was done walking in five to ten minutes. Also the admission fee is $5. It has lots of moss and stepping stomes on water. If in the area I recommend to continue the garden tour with Clay Gardens in Mineral Wells.

Worth is a gem of a garden built by a very well known British painter, who's portraits of heads of state can be seen at the Met in NY. He fell in love with a woman from Weatherford, and built this incredible garden with his... More
