We were looking for a place to spend a fee hours off the beaten path, and we did! It is part of the National Parks so you will need you pass or pay to enter. Off roading tp get to the beach, but great views,...More

We camp here every time we are vacationing in the area or just passing through. It's a fun place to camp right along Wahweap Bay of Lake Powell. Only $7 a night with the pass. We camped in a 21' van and followed other tire...More

But do go in there.. its a nice place tucked away from the main highway.. beautiful lake, nice place to rent and drive 4x4's or your boats.. if nothing else chill out and hang around the beach or take a dip in the lake..

This is a wonderful place to park on the beach and put your paddle boards in. We paddled right across the lake to the left of the Lone Rock and found a channel to paddle down. Amazing. Not a super easy paddle, but beautiful. We...More

We parked right on the beach and got out and swam for hours. You can pay $14 and camp right there on the beach. We went two days and both days around 5pm it got really windy and almost like a sand storm. Not too...More

Visited on 6/20/18. It was an amazing experience! A literal desert oasis! I knew it would be nice but I never expected to be blown away by how beautiful this place was! Made the entire 22 hour drive worth it!!

We parked and then walked to the left through a ditch that was about 15 feet deep to the other side of the beach and there were a lot less people. It was a beautiful beach and the water was clean too. It would have...More

We wanted to stay near Page over Memorial Day weekend but everything was booked - we were so grateful to find out that you can do primitive camping at Lone Rock for just $14/night (plus the $25 entrance fee, which you can use to access...More

Disappointed. I mean, it's pretty but the website was inaccurate. $25 entrance fee and $14 per night to camp. The website said nothing about this. It only said $10 per car. We paid it and didn't stay because it was incredibly windy (not their fault)...More

Lone Rock Beach is also a campground that has no designated sites and no hookups. It is surrounded by beautiful landscape and lots of the area's red rock features. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon of Easter weekend (April 1, 2018) and it was crowded...More

Yes, you may certainly go for the day and not camp! As a matter of fact, I don't recall buying or needing a pass while visiting the Lone Rock.
