We stopped by here for a look at the Goosenecks. Park ranger was a very affable guy. View of the Goosenecks is great - don't get too near the edge!

This state park consists of a parking lot and a beautiful view over the goosenecks of the San Juan River. That's it. If you are anywhere in the neighborhood, it's something you shouldn't miss. What you'll see is pretty much exactly what the photos show.

If you aren't up to walking to see Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado river, then this is the place for you. State park admission of $5.00 and parking right there at the bend within the park. Simple, easy walk to the overlook and very few...More

This is one of those picturesque locations that you must visit, truly breathtaking and difficult to properly capture without a panoramic camera. Absolutely stunning when you look down an the symmetry of the curves, fabulous fun.

I stopped here on my way to Moab. It's a pretty cool spot...with an entrance fee *sigh. Not crowded at all, and they have decent picnic facilities. Saw some pretty large birds soaring around.

Well worth the $5 park fee to take a few photos and view the multiple Goosenecks in the river. Quite amazing if you've never seen anything like this.

Since this is not a National Park, we paid the (comparably) small entrance fee of $5, and drove to the outlook. Wonderful view of the San Juan River that meanders 1000 feet below. - Good opportunity for a quick stop and nice pictures.

Yes, this is a small park. But the view is worth the price of admission. The fees were not much at all ($5), so it is a great place to park the car, check out the scene and have a quick picnic to see an...More

The park is located nine miles W-NW of Mexican Hat, UT, and the view of the loops in the San Juan River are phenomenal! The “Goosenecks” of the river are incised meanders in a valley at least 1000 feet deep. We paid $5 to a...More

Yes there is only one thing to see at this State Park... but what an attraction that one thing is. The magnitude of the Goosenecks are just jaw dropping. It is VERY well worth the side trip to see them, and $5 for an entire...More
