If you're debating between Goosenecks and Horseshoe Bend, the former is the hands down winner in our book. The main reason is the view, much more impressive in our opinion. On top of that, it's just steps away from the parking lot, vs. a 1.3...More

A visually interesting site to see and photograph once. A shame there is a charge for such meager accommodations. Even a small charge.

We went to 2 parks that seemed similar, Goosenecks and Canyonlands. Gooseneck was better, more dramatic.

This gem of scenery is a must see. The San Juan river has cut the goosenecks and standing at the edge of the canyon is most impressive

Great viewpoint. Luckily someone pointed us to it. You shouldn’t miss it. Complete different than the other sceneries in this area

Goosenecks State Park is reached by a four mile long paved road to the entrance station where you pay the $5 fee. Beyond that are restrooms and picnic shelters and beyond that is a 500m (1500 feet) drop from the rim to the San Juan...More

I really enjoyed the views here. Incredible scenery to rival horseshoe bend. Well set up to walk around or just to sit and take in the views. It was a clear day. I got some great pictures. Really nice to sit and chill.

Was surprised at how small the state park actually is, but the views are awesome! We had a picnic lunch while there and purchased some jewelry from a Navajo couple.

It costs $5 to park the car and look over the railing to view the river. It is the best $5 spent for 1 view EVER!!!! Dont miss!!!!!!

I do not see why, as it is not threatening any security issues. You may be able to get a captivating images of the San Juan river. Good luck.

There is nothing else to do at Goosenecks. You can drive in and out in 10 minutes. So, is the $5 fee worth the time for maybe a picture? Go to Valley of the Gods. It is like a mini monument valley and you don't have to... More
