Only visited forest during the winter for skiing. The drive up the mountains is pretty and winding. The ski resorts are really nice with local charm.

2 families with a set of 10 y.o. And 2 teenage boys (14). Did a 2 hour snowmobiling tour, had a BLAST. Perfect activity for a non-ski day. Tour guide Walt was great, let us play around on the sleds in a large open area before we started trekking. We were in a larger tour group with 4 additional sleds,... More

We were staying in Park City and a couple at the bar had just returned from Mirror Lake in the Wasatch National Forest. They raved about it. It was about an hour drive there, but the drive is the best part! You'll lose cell service, but that didn't bother us a bit. Absolutely beautiful views, camping and picnic areas, and... More

We kept stopping to take photos. Fantastic weather and skies. Everywhere you look is beauty. The fall colors were just fabulous. Glowing reds and salmons.

Had a day to spare and thought I would head out and see some sights close to Salt Lake City. Boy, am I glad that I did. Definitely not disappointed. I could have just kept going and going. It was about a 9 mile drive up to the Tram area. Just breathtaking along the way. I stopped numerous times just... More

If there is a place to take a motorcycle ride through a more majestic and peaceful setting, I don't know where it would be. The scenery is spectacular, the vibe is serene, and it seems that the spectacular views change every few minutes. Just when you think you've seen the most amazing thing, another amazing thing pops into view. Advice:... More

Its thick forest area with tall trees. There are many hiking trails which are ranging from starters hike to strenuous hike.

We travelled through this on the way from Thayne to Craters of the Moon National Park and boy was it worth the trouble. Awesome Scenery all the way and bags of wildlife including Deer, Elk, Marmot, Storks and Turkey Vultures. If you are in the area don't miss out, drive it!

Thank John B
