We stopped here after doing Peek-a-boo and Spooky slot canyons. Seeing the area takes about half an hour. It's interesting and strange, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. Nice arches and other rocky features: weird upright boulders, hoodoos. Opportunities for scrambling. There was a family with small children who were all over it having a great time.

Bit of a long drive bumpy drive along the unpaved Hole-in-the-Wall Road but this is a compact display of magnificent rocks, arches, windows, and hoodoos. Take an easy stroll to see and touch the various formations up-close. There are picnic tables and a restroom.

This is a small area with beautiful multicolored hoodoos and small natural arches. It is an easy hike through sandstone trail.

We only checked this place out briefly, but there are some pretty cool rock formations. There looked like there were several trails to hike from here and we are definitely going to check it out more next year.

The drive is a little long, about a few miles beyond the Harris Wash turnoff as you head south. From the Hole-in-the -wall road, it is 1/4 mile over a very bumpy road to the parking lot. In terms of difficulty, this is a very easy hike around the rock formations. There is a bathroom and picnic tables. But, no... More

Devil's Garden is located about 20 miles (5 miles paved plus 15 miles open road - unpaved/dirt street legal vehicles only) outside of the town of Escalante along the Hole in The Rock Road. This one is definitely worth a stop. There are many slot canyons and other hikes located along the Hole in the Rock Road, so don't miss... More

We heard from our airbnb host to take Hole in the Rock Road to Devil's garden. You drive right too it and then just stroll around. Very cool area. Give yourself time to explore. The road is not paved and quite a 'washboard' in places, but any car can easily make it. We found that going about 40 mph lessened... More

This is a nature made playground for all ages! I could have spent hours here rock scrambling on the formations, but my husband was itching to go back roading on Hole in the Rock Rd. Next time I'll plan ahead. Not sure if it's this way all the time, but we were only 1 of 3 cars in the parking... More

Don't miss this wonder! It's amazing to walk through the hoodoos. You can climb up and around. I loved it. My children loved it.
