The experience of riding in vintage carriages being pulled by a old diesel engine is a good way to take in the scenery. The staff are excellent and friendly and they put a lot of effort into making it a good experience.

We have been on several different train rides with them (Dinosaur Train, Wild West Train, Vivian Park) and all have been a lot of fun. They trains are old, but it is a historic railroad so that is to be expected.

This train ride is certainly cheap and follows along the valley near the reservoir. The train might have earned 3 or 4 stars until a child was injured. Right after the train turned around for the return trip, a window came down on a child’s...More

Highly recommend this fun ride for all ages! Beautiful scenery and a cool old train. The staff and entertainers were laid back, funny, told great stories and played wonderful old tunes on guitar and fiddle. Train robbery was very cute.
