I shouldn't share the secret, it's too easy. On a hot day, bring tons of water. It's really hot there and back. inside the canyon it's lovely. Petroglyphs on the walls of the canyon about 1 mile in are also cool to see.

My group of three went with a guide. We dropped into the middle passage and descended into the gulch from there.
