The campground at Yuba Lake State Park is small and a bit cramped but very nice. Nice areas of grass. On site camp store with a small cafe. Rentals available from Boats to Paddleboards. There is a sand area to play volleyball and a nice group area. They even offer little yurt type cabins. We stayed in a camp spot... More

I never expected to see people riding an ATV at a campground. Our neighbors had a generator going much of the day - and the wind was crazy. Would not go again.

We only stayed one night, having never been to Yuba Lake we wondered why we hadn't been before. It's so close to Salt Lake City and it has 3 campgrounds. We even managed to get a spot over Memorial Day weekend and there were empty sites. I think some campgrounds are better for swimming and water toys and others better... More

If you are looking for a nice, green, clean park to camp with your RV then this is a place you might want to consider. It has a dumping and water station close by. The park is above a good size lake where you could boat, ski or fish. There are areas without hookups for $20 a day or with... More

This state park was pretty nice! The lake was awesome and refreshing. I didnt like how close out campaite was to the next but that was probably the only thing i didnt like. The lady at the little shop was very nice and helpful with fishing tips and what kind of bait to use. Wish we could have caught more... More

Yuba lake was beautiful and we had such a great time with the family. From the youngest (3 yrs) to the oldest (55+) we all enjoyed the trip! Water was perfect! We camped out Friday night and woke up to a beautiful sunrise. By 7:30am we were already in the water riding jet skis and playing around in the water.... More

The lake is located in a Peaceful area in the "desert". Due to the past years drought the lake is very low as of February 2016 ! Better to be visited during summer months when the weather is warmer. They built a Zip line close to the entrance, it is not very long, closed during the winter. You can camp,... More

We have stayed twice now while passing by and enjoyed it both times. Probably even more fun with a boat or jet ski but we just needed a place to camp and enjoyed it for that.

So we pulled off to find a shady place to have our lunch and to use the toi. The State Park has an admission charge, but was closed. We went in, as there was no barrier. The camping sites here are from huge motor homes/trailers to tents. Many have view over the river/reservoir. Lots of BBQ's, toi's and utilities. The... More

I have to admit that we didn't stick around for very long so perhaps with more time I would have found things that were interesting about this location. It was a day trip for me and my boys and they just wanted to play in the water. The first red flag was cows walking along the beach. Dodge the cow... More
