The Crimson Trail is one of those hikes you'll love to do over and over again, especially if you make it a loop along Logan River Trail as your return. I've always started at Spring Hollow, where you can find parking off the highway, and...More

This is a spectacular hike in Logan Canyon. You can start at either Spring Hollow Campground or Guinavah Campground. From Spring Hollow the trail switchbacks up until you get on top of the China Wall, but then it's pretty flat from there until you begin...More

One of our favorite hikes. The walk along the top is beautiful and view is breathtaking. A bit strenuous when you going up, but dont expect easy way down. When you finish youll fill so good.

It is best to start at the Guinivah campground trailhead because that is the steepest part of the trail, and it is difficult to come down that way. If you start at the Spring Hollow campground, to avoid the steep descent, you should turn around...More

Beautiful views, but be in shape and take lots of water! Climbs rapidly at first over a thousand feet, then runs along the top of the "China Wall" cliffs in the canyon. Descent is equally steep. A good trail for trekking poles.

Loved the hike. Well maintained with great views. Sheer cliffs, bonny brooks and plenty of great scenery.

Steep early, but the trail's in great condition. Nice views of the valley. 4.1 miles on the loop with about 1100 ft of climbing. Took us right at 2 hours at a steady pace.

The hike was one of the best I've done. It was breath taking and a good work out. It had some really high trails and you have so many mountain views. If you're a hiker you have to check it out !!

I have hiked the Crimson Trail 4 times now and I love it every time. We go up the Guinevah side, much steeper than the Spring Hollow side but it is a shorter ascent to the top. Love walking above the China Wall. Great views...More
