Our family took a driving trip through Valley of the Gods and Monument Valley. Muley Point Overlook is lovely! Remember to take extra water!

Very scenic view but after traveling the canyonlands, they all kinda start looking similar. Gaze at the wonder though.

I have read about the magnificent Muley point not to be missed, and when we got there I was confused as no signs pointed the way. I guess it is a secret for the insiders! Do not give up though. Coming from the North when...More

Drive to the top of Moki Dugway, then take a left. Dirt road for a few miles, with outstanding views at the end! You can see forever.

Down and down we went. Fantastic views but need to be cautious. Keep your eyes opened (or closed, if you are the passenger overlooking the precipice.

This is probably one the most beautiful, spectacular views I've ever seen! It is so quiet when you're up there. It kind of feels strange and weird but also relaxing and peaceful. Loved this!

UT 261 climbed north from the San Juan River through the Valley of the Gods until it came to a thousand-foot-tall battleship wall of imposing red sandstone.  Most sensible people would just turn around and go back.  But not the Mormons.  Where sane people saw...More

After driving along magnificent views of lava creations and natural wonders, this canyon is much like Horseshoe in UT or Gooseneck Park in UT: just a canyon without color (unless you hit a sunrise/sunset) or hiking or more than the awe of how water can...More

We had a 2WD and we were worried about how bad the gravel road would be to Muley Point. But we managed just fine. The drive was completely worth it. Very few people were at the point. It's a lovely walk among huge rocks and...More
