Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber...

Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese.

Today, visitors can stop by the farm store to sample fresh cheese & handcrafted fudge daily; purchase raw milk, fresh & aged cheeses, handcrafted jam, fudge, cookies and candy.

Or grab some famous Aggie Ice Cream, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich or a nice bowl of soup - and enjoy it in our store or on the patio.

Heber Valley Artisan Cheese is a great fun stop on your trip in Midway! They have more cheese varieties than you'll know what to do with! We bought a few cheeses to go, varieties like "Wasatch back" (nice and spicy), orange basil, lavender honey, and tomato basil curds. All of them are so good! They even have free samples. When... Went here with family. The cheese is quite good, but overall the place just didn't do much for me. Not much seating, not a destination to see, food is so-so. Try their cheese in stores, but don't expect much from the visit. Several people were having their ice cream, which seemed to be good.

I stopped in to buy some cheese to take on my flight home. They had samples to taste and I found three cheeses to purchase plus some other Utah vendor items (chocolate/ yogurt covered cherries & blueberries). The recipients were very pleased with the gifts. I did not get out the door without a fabulous ice cream cone. Great place... More

Driving through this rural area doing a little sightseeing we came upon this little ice cream stand and cheese store. The parking lot was filled with cars so we had to stop to see what was going on. And we were glad we did. We were able to sample a dozen cheeses, it was hard to pick just one to... More

Stopped to check it out. Busy, but clean. Good and unusual products. Of course we bought some cheese. We weren't disappointed.

I have never tasted more interesting cheeses. My favorite was the Wasatch Back Jack, but the vanilla bean cheddar and the honey cinnamon cheddar were the most unusual. We tasted 10-12 different samples, bought some to take home, including fresh white cheddar curds. They also sell ice cream, raw milk, and local treats and handicrafts. Fun little store.

Thanks for stopping by yesterday - we're so pleased you experienced the difference of the farmer's touch! Your favorite (Wasatch Back Jack) is actually a national award winning cheese - so you have a great palette! And our dairy cows, whom we lovingly call "the gals" will be pleased to hear you loved their fresh curd. Its a definite favorite... More

Afer having lunch in Tarahumara, we wanted something sweet. We found this place in Google and went there. It's a working dairy farm and although they process milk, their ice cream is made by another plant. Nevertheless, I had the maple nut ice cream (glorious😉), far cheaper than at Ben & Jerry's. Give it a try, you won't regret it.... More
