This is a good spot for relaxing and fishing. Monticello is at a higher elevation that the surrounding areas. So the location of Lloyd’s Lake is at a more comfortable climate. It is not very large. It might be more accurate to call it a...More

Don't forget to take a short walk around the lake on the trail that has bridges and beautiful views. Fishing and Swimming from our newly installed dock are some more of the favorites. Hope to see you again

Very accessible. Have pit toilets and a pavilion. We caught trout and Green sunfish. There is an area on the south end where you can launch canoes or small boats.

The 2.5 mile trail around this irrigation reservoir takes you over the dam and crosses some streams on bridges. There are benches along the way, restrooms, picnic area, and volleyball court. You can fish in the lake, which is open to non-motorized boats. Good for...More

We have gone ice fishing here on several occasions and have been very surprised at how many fish we have caught. The scenery is amazing and the wildlife around here is unreal.

Thank you for your review and sharing your experience! We’re especially glad to see winter recreation happening in our local city parks. As a side note our state’s division of wildlife is to thank for keeping the lake well stocked.

Short look to hike or bike. Great for kids. Most beautiful location...mountain, water, aspens and wildlife. Doesn't get much better than this jewel.

I seriously doubt it. And the lake is really small -- more like a big pond. It's a place to fish or just sit in a lawn chair. There's a trail around the perimeter. But it's not really for swimming or boating.
