We were staying at the View Hotel and booked a sunset tour because we wanted to see it from the valley. However our guide missed it by about 10-15 minutes. We were so disappointed. I would have to give our guide, Don, an excellent review...More

While you can drive the public part of Monument Valley yourself, you will miss the best parts if you don't take a Navajo guided tour. We used MV Dineh Bekeyah Tours through TripAdvisor and it was truly amazing. Harry, our Navajo guide gave us an...More

Larry Stanley was our guide. He was very informative and professional. The sites were spectacular. We loved the history of the place that went along with the places he took us. No regret on the price we paid for the tour. Worth it.

Thanks so much for your review. I am so happy you enjoyed your tour. Larry is amazing and unless you hear his singing firsthand you wouldn't know what a beautiful gift he has. I listen on YouTube and that is music but in person it...More

They were awesome to book with and went out of their way to work with our schedule. The tour was incredibly interesting, informative and we both learned so much. This is a must do if you are visiting Monument Valley.

Oh yes. You are not required to get out at the various stops. I have a bad hip and had no problems. You probably go no more than 50 feet from the vehicle and the terrain is relatively flat.

We were there in May 2017. It was cold and a bit windy in the mornings and evenings; I needed a jacket and a hood but it warmed up during the day. I suggest wearing layers so you can adjust to the changing temperatures.
