This company was very professional and able to add me to a non-private back country tour at last minute. They were very friendly which was something that lacked with other companies. I noticed other companies sounded a little unpleasant over the phone. But this company was very pleasant from the start and answered all my questions. I was by myself... More

I, like most of the other reviewers here, found this tour company to be very easy to work with and extremely responsive during the booking process online. It's nice to work with a company that runs their business well and has helpful people dealing with the public! We opted for the private 3 hour back-country tour in the enclosed vehicle.... More

Agreeing with all the other reviews that this is an excellent tour. We also had John as our guide. What a super nice guy and very knowledgable of local history, geology, and Navajo culture. The tour takes you on back roads and to several arches and places you would not be able to access on your own. Also included a... More

With John as our guide we could visit the Mystery Valley - an less known part of the Monument Valley. John took us to magic places , he explained the history of Asanazi and told us a lot about the Navajo culture. It was an emazing experience. I would recommend the company and John to Anyone visiting the Monument Valley.

Caring and professional from the first email to our final thank you's. Majestic's offering of a private tour was the decision maker for us; and it really did make our visit exceptional. Taking the enclosed vehicle option gave us two benefits. The help with the wind, dust and weather is fine. But the winner is the chance to listen and... More

We booked the private tour, with an enclosed vehicle. Was very happy we had the enclosed car as it rained and hailed and also had lots of dust which is not great for camera gear. Great advantage of the private tour is that you can split your day in two - we did the main valley at dawn (5am departure)... More

We scheduled a private, 3 hour tour (yeh, I know) in a closed humvee, and it has been the highlight of our trip. Our personable guide, John, met us promptly in the lobby of The View Hotel and proceeded to captivate us for 3 hours with descriptions of the valley and its wondrous sights, tales of the Navajo people and... Our guide was Quanah who did an excellent job. He made the tour a truly memorable experience, taking time to point out history and landmarks. Highlight of the tour was resting at Big Hogan where Quahah serenaded us with his Navajo flute. This was probably the high point of our western road trip.

We found the Majestic Monument Valley Touring Co. on Tripadvisor and were very tempted by the great reviews. We took our tour mid-April with John, and loved it! From visiting the Navajo hogan, seeing the petroglyphs, and being serenaded by flute music, it was a highlight of our southwest visit. Our phone call to book was quickly followed with a... More

First trip to Monument Valley. Majestic Tours was simply amazing. We took the 17 mile drive before the tour and saw many tour companies out there. Most of the guides seemed to be sitting in the trucks as the people walked around the sights. Not happy with no smiles or giving information to guests. To our wonderful surprise, when we... More
