Great place to take the kids, and family or friends visiting to see airplanes. There are some old and some new. Good exhibitions too. And it is free.

This is the finest air museum next to Wright/Patterson. The displays are numerous and first class. Early planes all the way up to the latest jets. The fighter display is really nice. They also have the SR71 Blackbird. Admission is free with a few volunteers explaining the planes and operations. They have both indoor and out door displays. Cold or... More

3rd Best? yup the only ones to top this are the Smithsonian in DC and Wright Patterson AFB. My family loves planes and we have several generations of AF pilots in our family who have flown from Korea through the Gulf war. We stop at every plane museum or display we find. The facility is exceptional with everything very clean,... More

This is a great free museum for anyone who likes history, airplanes, or military. Great place to stop if you have little or lots of time! Volunteers are knowledgeable and share great stories. It's one our families favorites.
