We had friends warn us that Canyons can be hard for a boarder with many flat areas and it was true. My skiier friends had to wait or lend me a pole, but the resort was still really nice. It was recommended to get to the far side of the mountain, DreamScape and DreamCatcher lifts. We were happy about this... More

This resort was wonderful. Sadly, and as is the case with spring skiing the weather was warm They were trying to keep (make) snow on the mountains. The people were all very accommodating. This is a place I would love to go back to.... it will just have to be earlier in the season.

No snow. They tried to groom but there weren't a lot of snow machines. Shame really. The skiing is pretty average. Not massively interesting pistes. Weird skiing through fancy private houses. All felt a bit fake. Ski school was good though.

We have visited the Canyans for the past six years. We would never go anywhere else. The skiing is amazing and there is rarely any wait for a lift. There are several places to grab lunch on the mountain but you MUST try the Lookout Cabin. While a little pricey, it is a must for an amazing lunch with a... More

Great resort with lots of varied terrain. As with most of the resorts in the area, they could have used more snow. Lower trails were starting to get torn up with exposed rocks, dirt, etc... This is not really a beginners mountain but did offer a mid-mountain slope area for my beginning family members. Despite the need for more snow,... More

I skied there in March 2015. Good cruising on Tombstone & Dreamcatcher in the AM. There are some beautiful ski home in the trees near Dreamcatcher. We did some fun bump & crud skiing off 9990 lift after lunch. Fast, efficient lift system. The food at Canyons is overpriced & not very good compared to Deer Valley. Most of the... More

We visited the Canyons ski resort in mid March 2015. The skiing was spring conditions, with a mixture of slush and ice at the bottom. However, if you make sure to ski the top (Cloud Dine peak area), the skiing was fantastic. Snow was great and you can't beat skiing in a T-shirt. The resort is wonderful, short lift lines,... More

Although there was not as much snow as expected, the location is great! Everything has been well thought out! I will certainly come back.

Liked the mountain. But hard to navigate from one to the other. And not many greens runs for my wife and kids.
