Canyons is much less assuming than Park City as has just as much good skiing, mostly intermediate but plenty of more challenging terrain also. There are many groomed runs but ungroomed, glade and mogul skiing also. Many of the lifts are old, slow ones but the lines are not long.Long cat track ones connect various parts of the mountain. Just reviewed park city mountain resort. Gave it a 3. Canyons was better and the plan to link it to park city is great. I might come back when they have done that. The skiing was better here than I expected but as someone used to Vail and whistler I was disapointed with the range of skiing and the age... More

We didn't expect there to be as many runs as we found and the resort centre was nice and quiet. The slopes were long and quite often we had them virtually to ourselves.

A nice ski resort (not as nice as Deer or others). Limited snow was disappointing, but they were trying hard. Also, limited green runs for beginners.

Really like the variety of terrain to ski at Canyons. Food like every mountain is crazy expensive. Should be really interesting next year when there is a gondola connecting Canyons and Park City

The canyons is amazing! I went there in the winter and had a private class for sky. You'll find some bars, resort, hotels and good restaurants around there.

Lots of good trails to ski on. I am an intermediate skier like the blue trails here. Weekdays were not crowded and not much wait on lifts. I am a senior and lift prices are good price and Can ski second day at Park City for only $54.00.

It snowed 8" every night we were at the Canyons and there was plenty of fresh powder. We mainly stuck to the Ninety-Nine 90 lift and the terrain and conditions were perfect. There's also a terrain park for every level of rider/skiier.

So I live here and have another resort withing 15 minutes of my front door. When I have a couple hours that is where I ski/board, but for expanded terrain and all day fun we hit the Canyons. There is plenty of every level of skiing and great access to rail park, back country powder and munching moguls.
