GORGEOUS!

Drove through here during the peak of Fall and it was beautiful! Completely worth the drive! The trees look gorgeous in October!

This is a beautifully scenic drive between Park City and Brighton/Solitude. At the top of the pass, there's a small parking area, where you can stop to enjoy the views or take a little hike. You can also climb a few hundred yards up to the top of Jupiter Bowl, and get a great view looking down across the Park... More

We were so lucky to visit here in October when the leaves were changing. I can't think of enough descriptive words to express how beautiful this ride is. We spent the day and took our time and stopped whenever and wherever we wanted. If you are in this area, please make time to drive through Guardsman Pass.

If u go to park city, u MUST drive the Guardsman Pass over to Heber Valley (other parts of the pass were closed when we were there)! Crazy switch backs, beautiful birch forests, stunning mountain neighborhoods to explore, pull-offs for pictures & hiking...the drive from Main Street to heber valley takes 30-45 minutes..not much in heber valley, but another town... A great place to see the colors change in the fall. Lots of places to park and go hiking or mountain biking.

If you have a fear of heights and narrow roads, this may not be for you. If you don't have those fears, this is a beautiful drive. It combines a little dirt with some of the best views you will see. Try it, you will enjoy it.

A beautiful drive from Park City through the hills. Aspen trees were super plentiful. Unfortunately, we were past season so the leaves were mostly off the trees but we could imagine what the forest looked like earlier in the year. The road is closed when they get snow so be aware.

If you find yourself in the Park City or Salt Lake City area in the fall, I highly recommend a drive to do some leaf peeping over Guardsman Pass. The trees on the Big Cottonwood Canyon/Brighton side are absolutely gorgeous when they turn yellow and orange. There are also some pretty incredible views from the top of the pass so... More

Fun drive on a beautiful sunny day. We were heading back to SLC and had never been able to drive thru this Pass because of weather/conditions.This is usually closed from Nov-May. If you have a chance it is a far better drive than going back on I-80 to SLC. You can stop and hike or wait till you get to... More
