It was a nice drive to get to Kayenta. I would have liked to visit more galleries and stores. The store owners were all very pleasant and helpful.

Kayenta is beautiful! Our ride through to St George was so pleasant. We saw many cattle farms and even some Bison!

Kayenta is perfect for a few hours at the Coyote Gulch artists' studios. And, if you feel active, take a walk either around the streets or up the wash toward the mountain!

I really don't know or understand what made people want to live in this area? It's hard to even realize there's much there cause it's just a desert but maybe for some that is the attraction?

Make sure and stop by Xetava for some great food and the beautiful red mountain backdrop. My personal favorite is the hummus plate :)

This is a fun place for everyone. I really enjoyed browsing and the cactus garden. We got there late and didn't have near enough time. Next time I will go early. Just remember it is southern Utah and very hot in the summer months.

I don't think there are bike rentals in the immediate Kayenta, as it is mostly a unique residential community with a great Artist colony.

There are a lot of bike trails all over the area, but none right by Kayenta. Kayenta is a residential community that blends into the desert with southwestern style homes. Red Rock Bikes (redrockbicycle. com) rents, sales... More
