The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

Fabulous area with amazing views. Red rock cliffs and sand with sage green plants dotting the landscape. Fun art center with paintings, jewelry and sculpture. Stop for lunch or coffee.

If you read about this place before going you will appreciate it more. Unique architecture. A variety of studios, and a cafe. Great views on the drive up from St. George.

Kayenta is a gorgeous housing development of modern New Mexico, Adobe flat roofed homes, along with an art center with galleries and Xetava restaurant. The whole community is surrounded by Sedona- like beautiful red mountains. At certain times when the sun hits the mountains just...More

I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful setting for an artist's enclave! Good artists too! Mother Nature's art is a great complement to the community. I will go back!

This artist's enclave is a short drive out of St. George and a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Like most of the mountains and canyons around St George Utah it is unique. The shops are mostly art. If you want to decorate with a Western motif it is a great place to shop.

Try Xetava Gardens Cafe, Breakfast menu got our eye with the blue-corn gluten-free waffles- they're topped with peanut butter, fresh berries, and whipped cream, and taste phenomenal! I don't think there are bike rentals in the immediate Kayenta, as it is mostly a unique residential community with a great Artist colony.
